Texas Socialist Discussion Group – Communist Manifesto

We have a TX Socialist Discussion Group meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7 pm. We will discuss the Communist Manifesto by K. Marx and F. Engels (Also known as The Manifesto of the Communist Party)

One of the most influential political documents of all time, here is the authorized translation of Karl Marx and Frederick Engels’ Communist Manifesto originally published in 1848. Commissioned by the Communist League and originally published in London just as the revolutions of 1848 began to erupt, it presents Marx and Engels’ analytical approach to the class struggle, capitalism, the capitalist mode of production, and calls on workers of the world to unite!

Since it was brought to public notice, the “Communist Manifesto” has been so far the world’s most widely read political document.

Reading prior to the discussion would be very helpful. You can purchase copies of the Communist Manifesto from International Publishers (with a 40% discount for members) or download a free PDF copy from Manifesto of the Communist Party from marxists.org.
